The BALLARINI Tanaro series santoku knife is an international multi-talent: the typically Japanese cutting edge with broad blade and incredible sharpness meets elegant, European design. The knife’s 18 cm blade is made with German stainless steel.
What we think of as a kitchen knife is the santoku cutting edge among Japanese knives. Translated, santoku means “three virtues”, and describes its incredible qualities when cutting meat, vegetables and fish. Three additional virtues of the BALLARINI knife are the blade’s incredible sharpness, cutting edge retention and corrosion resistance. These continue on to the ergonomically designed stainless steel handle, which guarantees maximum hygiene by preventing food remnants from becoming stuck. Although we recommend gently cleaning it by hand, the professional knife is also dishwasher-safe. The all-purpose knife can be used for almost all cutting requirements in the kitchen.
