Description

For amateur cooks and professional chefs alike, the Grand Maître collection is all about balance. Each piece in this widely-sought range is of a full-tang construction, uniformly hardened and forged from a single piece. Because of this, the transition from blade to handle is sleekly seamless, with the latter ergonomically shaped for comfort even over sustained periods.

Perfect carving requires more than just a great carving knife – you also need the Carving Fork. Its forged prongs are optimally placed and just the right sharpness, so it works with you and your knife. You can be sure that every cut will be the right size, free of holes and not at all wasteful. In other words: perfect. The triple-rivet handle is ergonomically designed to provide optimum weight, balance, and comfort while the plastic over molded (POM) handle will hold its shape and not crack or separate from the blade.

  • Single-piece, full-tang construction
  • Hand washing recommended
  • Lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects
  • Hot-drop forged in Germany
  • Finished in Switzerland
The Making of The Name

The Making of The Name

Originating from inside Karl Elsener's cutler workshop in 1884, Victorinox stands for quality, functionality, innovation & iconic design & has done so for more than 130 years! Victorinox comes from Karl's mother's name Victoria & inox, the international term for stainless steel. Combining the two words "Victoria" & "Inox" gives the name of the company & brand today - Victorinox.

Swiss Army Knife

Swiss Army Knife

In 1891, Karl Elsener delivered the first major supply of 'soldiers knives' to the Swiss Army. The term 'Swiss Army Knife' was coined by American soldiers after World War II due to the difficulty in pronouncing its German name. By 1945, the Swiss Army Knife becomes known all over the world. US soldiers buy it in large quantities & it becomes a popular souvenir to take home.
