The 71 cm long blade made of 200 layers of hand forged Damascus, the authentic handle with underlays of real manta ray skin as well as the traditional wrapping make this jewel a true masterpiece. In former times, the social status of the samurai could be recognized by the workmanship of the sword. The Tsuba is decorated with Japanese motifs and shows a slight antique finishing. The discreet wooden Saya has been coated with a shining black varnish. Includes a sword maintenance kit and an authentic pouch. Decorative or collector's sword, not suited for use!
