The selector switch on the KBGV Select allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe. The brewing speed and hotplate temperature adjust according to your choice, brewing either amount to the golden cup standard. The brew basket automatically stops the flow of coffee when removing the carafe. All glass carafe brewers feature a hotplate with an independent heating element that holds your coffee at the perfect temperature. We build our coffee brewers to work hard day after day, maintaining their quality for years and even decades. Every brewer we manufacture has a 5-year warranty, and we will repair any brewer for life.

the coffee it makes is equivalent to other coffee makers I’ve had. What’s so disappointing about this coffee maker is the plastic parts - they’re thin, cheap feeling, don’t sit quite right with the rest of the machine, making it a pain to align the filter over the carafe- the lid doesn’t always lock into place and will fly off when pouring coffee. I wish I had been able to see this one in person because I wouldn’t have gotten it due to the janky cheap plastic bits. With this price point I would think that the experience of making coffee would be smoother but I’ve made better coffee with cheaper machines that felt ten times smoother as a user experience than with this, which is also disappointing as i use it every day.
