Description
Constructed for a lifetime of use and culinary performance, this 14-piece Copper Core Set provides the pieces you need to cook almost any dish. Each piece from this collection features a distinctive copper band circling a lustrous stainless steel exterior. Long, riveted stick handles stay cool on the cooktop, while easy-grip loop handles provide stability for the larger pots and pans. The bottom of each pan features engraved capacity markings.
Cookware from the All-Clad Copper Core Collection features bonded five-ply construction with layers of aluminum surrounding a copper core. The 18/10 nonstick stainless steel interior provides an easy-to-clean cooking surface, and the stainless steel exterior makes this cookware compatible with all cooking surfaces, including induction cooktops. Copper Core’s layered construction eliminates warping and enables rapid, even heating.

All- Clad products are known for two points. Being expensive and very well made. We have several pieces from the copper core line at home and I can’t recommend them enough. Keep them clean, follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on maintaining them and they will last longer than you.

This is fantastic for a family of 4 or 5 for a pasta dish. I like to cook the pasta in the sauce like a risotto. This is ideal for this kind of technique because of the round shape. For example, I sear the guancale (or bacon) in the pan. Remove a bit of fat and put the pasta in the dish with the egg/parmesan mix. I can stir and finish the pasta cooking directly in the pan. It is also perfect for a risotto for 4 or 5 portions. It is not to heavy and works fine on induction.
