The Harvest Right Oil Filter Cartridge, available in packs of 3, is an essential component for maintaining the performance and longevity of your vacuum pump. Designed for use with the Harvest Right oil filtration system, these cartridges efficiently filter the oil, ensuring optimal functioning of your freeze dryer. Each shipment of a freeze dryer includes one complimentary oil filter, except for orders with the Oil-Free pump upgrade. Regularly filtering the oil helps preserve the vacuum pump's lifespan and enhances the overall performance of your freeze dryer, making it a crucial investment for any freeze-drying operation.

Key Features:

• Remove the cartridge packaging and place it into the cartridge holder of the Harvest Right filter.
• Firmly press the cartridge into the holder until it makes a secure seal.

Cartridge Replacement:

• Replace cartridges after approximately 15-20 uses, or sooner depending on oil quality.

Oil Filtration Directions:

• Open the oil reservoir drain valve and allow oil to drain into the oil filter. Lift the rear of the vacuum pump slightly to ensure all oil drains out.
• Wait for the oil to filter through the system.
• Water will separate from the oil during filtration, sinking to the bottom of the bottle.
• Discard the separated water and do not pour it back into the vacuum pump.
• Pour the filtered or new oil into the vacuum pump.

Indications of Clean Oil:

• No debris or particulates in the oil.
• Oil is not milky or chalky.
• Oil has clarity, with a yellow or amber color.
• Vacuum pump achieves suitable pressure for freeze drying.

Oil Filter Replacement:

• Replace the filter if oil won't drain through it or if the oil remains milky or full of debris after filtration.
