Handcrafted in Italy from molecular titanium, NanoBond introduces the first true innovation to stainless steel in over 100 years. Thousands of nano layers of molecular titanium are bonded directly to stainless steel, creating a cooking surface four times harder than typical stainless. NanoBond’s surface is highly resistant to scratching, staining, salt pitting and is dishwasher safe. Although NanoBond is highly stick resistant, it is not "nonstick." Low to medium-high heat is recommended after initial high heat searing. NanoBond delivers 35% greater heat conductivity than other aluminum-clad cookware, which means superior cooking performance. NanoBond withstands temperatures up to 1,050 ºF, so you can always get the perfect sear for juicier meats. Was this pan expensive? Yes. Was it worth it? A million times yes. This pan is so much fun to use and is incredibly durable. This will be in my kitchen for decades to come!

Overall, I'm not impressed.
I couldn't have been more excited with my purchase. Finally a premium quality cookware set. Admittedly, upon opening the box on delivery day, I was hugely optimistic that this set was going to be everything that it claimed to be.
Upon opening the box, I was thrilled with what I saw. Gorgeous, to say the least. Excited to test put the performance, I quickly washed one of the pans and tossed it on the stove top. Up to temperature, fat, egg. This is where things fell apart.
The avocado oil for the fat to ensure the greatest chance of nonstick for my fried egg flowed well around the pan. After I hit smoke, egg went in. All things seemed normal, until it came time to check adhesion. Totally stuck on half the egg. Disappointed, considering I've cooked thousands of fried eggs in my time. Oh well. But then clear-down was no better.
Wait to cool slightly and then into soapy water. The stuck egg was really stuck. Being mindful to use a non-abrasive, I was unimpressed with the level of effort required to clean it. And that trend continued throughout the week. Reverse seared beef roasts, poached eggs, boiled potatoes, boiled rice. All left a LOT of residue and staining. I will say however, the hestan cleaning paste is amazing.
I wish that was where the troubles ended. Sadly, things were much worse than that. After 1 week of use, ZERO metal utensils, and about 10 meals, I have noticed that two of the pans have nicks or dents in the nanobond coating. The…
