For precision in your cooking, these clever digital scales offer two options for weighing your ingredients, either placing the items directly onto the scales using your own bowls, or flip the top over and it becomes a measuring bowl itself. Featuring an easy-to-read back-lit LCD display and touch-sensitive controls, SwitchScale is great for weighing both liquids and dry foods in the following units – gms, lbs, ozs, fl.ozs, mls up to a maximum capacity of 5kg / 176.4 fl.oz / 11lb / 5000ml. A convenient ‘add and weigh’ function allows multiple ingredients to be weighed during recipe preparation and an auto power-off feature maximizes battery life. It also has non-slip silicone feet. Bowl – hand wash. Scale – wipe clean with a damp cloth. Powered by 3 x AAA batteries (included).

The Story Behind The Brand
In 2003, twin brothers Antony & Richard Joseph decided to join forces & launch Joseph Joseph with the goal of creating functional, problem-solving household products. They were designing & building products in a workshop at home & their passion for making things continued through their university years & into their early careers as product designers.
It All Started With A Chopping Board
The brand started life relatively small but it was the simple glass chopping board that stood out. Its functional, hygienic nature shifted the brothers’ focus onto designing everyday products with a core problem-solving approach. So a path to transform household essentials began.
