Description

Our ‘Delight’ Tarte Tatin Set allows you to easily make delicious Tarte Tatin—from classical apple recipes to innovative versions with vegetables or exotic fruit. - Simply make the caramel on the hob, directly in the dish, add the apples cut into quarters, lay the pastry on top and put in the oven to bake. - Once cooked, place the serving dish over the baking dish and flip the set over to turn out the Tatin. Serve directly; the outer rim retains the liquid caramel with no spill. - The innovative “Delight” ceramic diffuses the heat evenly over the surface of the baking dish, making it easy to prepare caramel on all types of heat sources—including induction. - The naturally non-stick glaze makes the set easy to clean (dishwasher proof) and maintain.

The tarte Tatin, named after the hotel serving it as its signature dish, is an upside-down pastry in which the fruit (usually apples) are caramelized in butter and sugar before the tart is baked. It originated in France but has spread to other countries over the years. Now you can make your own tarte tatin with this great Emily Henry tarte-tatin set.

  • Scratch-resistant translucent glaze provides a smooth non-stick surface
  • Sleek, contemporary
  • Oven, microwave & dishwasher safe

    Works as advertised, light-weight

I love this flame pot. It’s a great everyday size. I’ve used it for soups and mac n cheese. It’s light-weight, handles and lid are easy to grip, easy to clean. I bought the black one. So far there is no discolouration. I haven’t frozen anything in it yet but I’ve taken it from fridge to gas burner with no issues.

Beautiful but be prepared for cracking!

I started my collection over 20 yrs ago. I had everything… mugs, casserole dishes, pie plate. They all cracked. I was told “ faulty product” in the old red colour. I miss my large casserole dish and am tempted to at least buy this again. .. .. I see only one other comment about early cracking.

    Buyer be ware!!!!

Emile Henry -5.6 QT Ceramic Burgundy Round Stewpot

Beautiful to look at, considerably lighter and easier to handle than cast iron pots I’ve used. Performed as I’d hoped and my first attempt at Beouf Bourgignon turned out a delicious meal. Will definitely look into the other options for cookware . Love my new stewpot!

    A wonderful tagine!

Good quality, works well. The performance on our little induction side element was even surprising. Very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone. It’s even lighter than it looks and easy to handle. Bravo Émile Henry! Unfortunately for my pocket book I will probably have to buy more Émile Henry products, but then again this probably means I will never have to replace them.
