This classic 3 piece set includes the 5.5" vegetable knife which is similar to a cleaver but without the height. This vegetable knife is a perfect every-day knife for all general cooking purposes. The set also includes the 3" peeling knife which is a small and versatile knife with a slim blade with centre tip and straight cutting edge. Peels, cuts, cleans and garnishes fruit and vegetables. Lastly, the set also includes the 8" cook's knife which is great for thicker cuts of vegetables, fruits and meats or mincing and chopping herbs. The curved blade enables a rocking cut and wide surface enables knuckle clearance and gathering of cut food.

The History of Global
The first GLOBAL knives were designed in 1985 by Komin Yamada whose task was to develop a range of knives which was truly new and revolutionary, harnessing the best materials available and the most modern design concepts. The Finest Materials

The blades utilize CROMOVA 18 stainless steel, ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56°-58°, which holds a razor sharp edge longer than any other steel and resists rust, stains and corrosion. Like the Samurai swords before them, each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand.
