The Assistent Original is produced and assembled by hand in Sweden and has been since 1940. Each Assistent is tested before it leaves the factory. We work with the catchwords of quality, functionality and design.
Each Assistent Original standard package includes accessories to make cooking easier and provide invaluable help when baking everything from sponge cakes to sourdough loaves. This is the latest model of the classic Assistent Original, with several new clever functions and improvements. A huge 7 litre bowl makes this the ideal machine for making large batches of dough. It can mix 1.5 L of dough liquid and 5 kg of dough.

The mixer delivery was fast. The mixer is amazing. Quiet and works fast. With full access from the top, I can check on the progress of the dough/batter. My only regret is not getting it sooner.

I thought I could make more then 5 loaves of sourdough, but I cant. But it’s able to manage my 3 loaves of my heavy dough like brioche; unlike my KitchenAid which overheated and died w a double loaf.

I've only used the mixer a few times so far and am learning it's different. So far what I've made has been really as good as I'd hoped. I'm looking forward to expanding what I use it for. It seems to have amazing power and at low speed with a heavy load of pizza dough, it mixed without any lag or slow down by the machine. Very good power and gearing on the low end.
As a footnote, Chef Supplies was amazing to deal with. Delivery was prompt and they were very responsive to all my questions and requests before I placed the order.

Got this a few days ago. Our first loaf was a charm!! a little more learning curve than our Kitchenaid, but end product is superior. It also feels that you are actually baking!!! the way it kneads the dough is mesmerizing. Much easier view and access to add ingredients than the kitchen aid. The whipping is yet to be tested.

I have had a Kitchen Aid Pro mixer for over 25 yrs. I saw this Ankarsrum online ,did tons of research over the last couple of mths and decided to try one. I saved my money by selling my baked goods, and finally had enough to buy one,(as they are pretty pricey).
It arrived yesterday. I have to say the quality of construction is second to none. (It could probably take a nuclear hit and be just fine 🤣)I will be baking Brioche tonight,and CAN’T WAIT to use it. I’m totally confident this machine will surpass all other mixers I’ve ever had. The size of the bowls is amazing. I’m so excited to have this beautiful piece of equipment,worth every dollar. Shipping was fast . I might spring for the stainless steel mixer bowl at some point . Have to save up my dollars again. Birthday is in August so I’ll be dropping major hints 🤣
