The Swiss Diamond XD series features a reinforced nonstick surface (real diamonds in a high quality composite) which provides years of trouble-free cooking and easy clean-up. Its extra thick, cast aluminum body with a perfectly-flat base will not tip/spin or warp as it provides uniform heat distribution. The rivet-free cooking surface provides maximum protection against bacteria while the comfortable, ergonomic handles are designed to stay cool on the stovetop. Oven safe to 500°F (260°C).
Designed for use on the stovetop and in the oven, the Swiss Diamond 3.2-quart (9.5 inch) Induction Casserole is oven-safe up to 260°C (500°F). Use it on top of the stove to braise and sear, then cover with the heat-tempered glass lid to complete the meal in the oven. Cooking has never been this simple! The tempered glass lid is clear to prevent overcooking and has reinforced stainless-steel rims for added durability. A sliding lever in the knob opens for optional venting.
